STEPS to completing the FAFSA

​

1. Student & Parent/Legal Guardian create and FSA ID account

• Student's FSA ID login is used to log into FAFSA

• Parent/Legal Guardian FSA ID login is used as their signature at the end of their student's FAFSA for the Parent signature part 

 

2. Student logs into FAFSA using their FSA ID login and begin to fill out 

 

3. The student must provide parent information unless there is a special situation (there is a list noted on the FAFSA)

 

4. At the end both Student & Parent/Legal Guardian sign using their FSA ID log in and submit
