Two Year Colleges

 

Two Year Colleges are great options for students looking to go into a trade or technical career. Students who attend a Two Year college can also transfer to a Four Year institution and save money on general educatoin credits.

The most popular two year college for WHS is Lansing Community College. Lansing Community College is a great, low cost option. They offer a wide variety of programs. Many students will choose to transfer from LCC to a 4 year college, while some may choose to pursue a two year technical degree.

Grand Rapids Community College is another 2 year college. GRCC is well known for their Culinary Arts program, as well as many other degree options.

Another community college to consider is Jackson College. Jackson College is one of the few community colleges in Michigan to offer residential halls for students.

Baker College is a unique college that offers both 2 Year and 4 Year programs. They offer a variety of 2 year technical programs, including automotive technician certificates, veterinary technician degrees, and many more. They have campuses across the state of Michigan, including one in Jackson and in Owosso.
