Here is a small list of the Four Year Colleges located in Michigan. This page is still being updated, but feel free to take some time to explore what these colleges have to offer!

University of Michigan is located in Ann Arbor, MI. U of M is world renown school, and is known for prodiving a rigorous and quality education. Some popular programs at U of M are: Pre-Med, Business, Architecture, Engineering, and many more.

Michigan State University (MSU) is located about 15 minutes away from Waverly High School. Located in East Lansing, MSU has many great programs to offer. Some of the programs that they are most known for are: Education, Agriculture, Business, and many more!

Western Michigan University is located in Kalamazoo Michigan. WMU is a large research insitutions that offers a wide variety of majors. Western is known for their Aviation, Education, Occupational Therapy, and many other programs.

Fun Facts: Did you know they have given out over 270 million dollars in financial aid over the past two years? They also have a squirrel club!

Central Michigan University is located in Mt. Pleasant Michigan.  CMU is known for having the largest pool of Education Alumni in the state. Along with Education, CMU is known for their programs in Physical Therapy, Meteorology, Apparel Merchandising and Design, and many more.

Grand Valley State University is located in Allendale Michigan, near to Grand Rapids. GVSU is known more recently for their commitment to be environmentally sustainable by investing over $45 million in efforts to reduce their carbon imprint. GVSU is known for having over 120 degree programs, including Business, Nursing, Computer Science, and many more.

Ferris State University is located in Big Rapids Michigan, on the west side of the state. Ferris is unique in that they offer two-year technical degrees along with 4-year degrees. Ferris has a wide variety of degrees to offer such as Pharmacy, Welding, Music Management, and much more.

Wayne State University is located in the heart of Detroit Michigan. Wayne has over 380 degree and certificate programs. Among those programs are Pre-Med, Construction Management, Pre-Law, and many more.

Saginaw Valley State University is located in University Park, right outside of Saginaw Michigan. SVSU is a small university, about 8,000 students, with the feeling and benefits of a larger school. Some programs that are common at SVSU are Education, Health Sciences, Athletic Training, and more.
